Why we started
VELTRA began with a simple frustration: leather shoes that look right on the shelf and wrong on the foot six months later. Too many pairs are built to photograph well and wear out quietly. We wanted the opposite — a shoe that reads better in year two than on day one.
What we make
One shape, refined rather than reinvented. Full-grain leather, cut on lasts that respect the width of a real foot, stitched soles that can be replaced instead of thrown away. No corrected grain, no glued construction, no seasonal novelty for its own sake.
How we size
Everything is built to EU sizing, 36 to 47, with a published foot-length chart for every style. If a pair does not fit the way you live, send it back within 30 days of delivery.
The first drop
Five hundred pairs, made in small runs and shipped from the European Union. When a size sells through, we make it again rather than discontinue the shape.
